A pre-European Maori carved pounamu hei tiki, of good proportions with traditional features of head turned to left shoulder and hands clasped to thighs, single tapered hourglass drilled suspension hole, medium to dark green tone with semi-translucent pale inclusions. Length 3.90 in., width 2.01 in. Provenance: The Flower Family Collection.
