Two early Chinese textile fragments, Han Dynasty (202 B.C. - 220 A.D.) and Liao Dynasty (916-1125), the Han dynasty silk fragment embroidered on fine silk ground with a mythical bird. The Liao Dynasty silk garment fragment embroidered with a depictions of clouds, and a pair of cranes. Each framed and glazed. The Han fragment with frame 14.96 in. high, 19.29 in. wide. The Liao fragment 16.54 in. high, 18.90 in. wide.
