A Len Castle large dish collaboratively painted with an abstract design, Len Castle reviewed this dish in August 2004 and while confirming it was his work, he could not identify the second mark (incised C within a circle) and could not confirm who did the painting, which he said was not his. He wondered if it could have been done by his wife Ruth. The impressed surface pattern came from hessian matting and it was fired in his Tawini Road kiln. Stamped maker's mark at the base with another unidentified mark. 16.34 in. x 12.99 in.
