A Givenchy gold tone mesh necklace. Double circular pendant with a mesh gold tone chain. Signed at reverse design 'Givenchy Paris New York 1977.' Length approx 15.75 in. Hubert de Givenchy started designing and producing his Couture Jewellery collections in 1967. He was known for using beautiful rhinestones, polished glass, various plated metals, and faux pearls to make his pieces stand out. His creations were so popular that high end fashion boutiques worldwide carried his pieces. Givenchy's classic designs made his pieces very popular and collectible.
