Te Maniatutu Ruamoko. This tekoteko free-standing figure is caved from a single piece of wood. It depicts a figure with hands at its stomach and feet apart, knees slightly bent. The figure has inlaid paua shell eyes, and the face has incised detailing of facial moko. Marked on the reverse 'Ruamoko by Te Maniatutu Rotorua'. Height 21.65 in., width 5.51 in., depth 5.51 in. Provenance: Private Collection, Aotearoa
