19th century Elizabeth Pulman (1836-1900) full glass plate negative portrait of 'Ratima Whakaete', the moko hand incised, entitled, numbered 42, signed and with 'New Zealand government tourist department protected' stamp with 'No.3525 7.1.03'. 11.81 in. x 9.96 in. Provenance for this lot and the following 10 lots: the plates were given to our vendor's brother, who was a photographer, by a friend of his grandfathers, Charlie Troughton-Clark. Mr Troughton-Clark was a photographer in the early part of last century for the New Zealand tourist board
