Gustave Richard Lambert, (Singapore river hut dwellers), albumen paper print, circa 1880s, photographer's blind stamp on image lower right, 8.46 in. x 10.83 in., laid down on card, Lambert arrived in Singapore in 1875, where he sat up a studio on Orchard Road. He was a prolific photographer of Singapore, Borneo, Malaya, Siam and china.
