Ruser, 18ct gold bracelet, designed as a line of sixteen pierced polished gold leaves, signed Ruser, 18ct gold, weight 62.8gm, length 8.66 in. William Ruser commenced his career with Trabert & Hoeffer-Mauboussin. He opened the eponymous boutique on Rodeo drive, Beverly hills in 1947. Attracting the most famous of Hollywood clientele, from Marelene Dietrich to Joan Crawford, with their jewels appearing in big screen productions. While Ruser was well known for its fine diamond and platinum jewels, freshwater Baroque pearls and whimsical brooches became their specialty. Ruser closed its doors in 1969.
