Early 20th century Russian 84 silver icon, depicting Christ the Pantocrator, marked 84, with pre 1908 assay mark of Yakov Lyapimov, St. Petersburg, 1899-1903, maker P.Ovchinnikov, Moscow, hand painted depicting Christ with serene expression and right hand raised in blessing, the left hand holding an open gospel, set within a finely decorated silver oklad accented with polychrome enamel halo and corner brackets, with cabochon stone accents, 10.83 in. x 9.06 in.
