A 'famille-rose' Shou character dish seal mark of Jiaqing of saucer shape, painted in iron-red on the interior with the wufu encircling a central shou medallion, the exterior with a frieze of characters alternating in iron-red and turquoise enamel between a band of petals around the foot and ruyi heads below the lipped rim, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue, box 6.61 in.
