Carved circa 1920, for May Sterena (who later became his wife) with MS monogram carved front of box. the interior has a lift-out tray with lidded multi storage boxes and compartment lower. Height 7.28 in. Width 12.01 in. Depth 8.27 in. Note: Arthur Bertram Meddick, a professional wood carver and builder by trade. His commissions include a pub facade at the Riverhead arms in the village of Riverhead Kent, U.K., and carving for a church in Windsor NSW, Australia
